show info
We have seen the progress you all have made over these few months and are so excited to see what you have produced in January! Here's what to expect as the show approaches:
-
As you approach the show, you will be using the stage more often. This is a shared space and you must respect it; avoid leaving disorganized or dirty messes please!
-
Call time is usually 2 hours before showtime, but always make sure with your director.
-
Please make sure you have all your materials. Don't forget to check for costumes, props, shoes, makeup, hair, and accessories.
-
Techies and directors need time to get things done with the actors during the hours after call time, so if you take a long time, we recommend you start getting ready before you arrive.
-
This show is being performed for children. Please stick to the script and act appropriately!
rehearsal info
Rehearsals will start in October and will continue up until the shows. Even as you become more familiar with the show and the space, there are established expectations that you must adhere to:
-
Dress appropriately. Wear breathable, active clothing for choreo days. Please avoid shorts, jeans, and anything too baggy.
-
Rehearse in your respective costume pieces when approved or appropriate. If you are unsure, consult your director or our costumer, Sydney Sessions.
-
DO NOT EAT/DRINK IN COSTUMES. Water is allowed.
-
Please come prepared and on time. Know what to expect in rehearsal. If we are running scenes or cleaning music/choreo, please be sure to have it memorized.
-
Do not touch props that aren't yours. Props are costly in both time and expenses. Please do not touch any props or rest on any prop furniture. This ensures they stay in prime condition for the show.
-
If you miss something, catch up ASAP. Don't wait for someone to teach you. Take initiative.
-
Respect who's running rehearsal. This includes our director(s) as well as those in charge of choreography or music.

Attached below is the conflict form. You can revisit this for rehearsal and show dates and times. However, these are subject to change. As such, please look out for updates from your director(s) in class and on Canvas.
