Now that we have distributed scripts, please remember your script number and make sure you don't lose it! These must be returned to Grizzle once we're done with the show. Therefore, you must also only use pencil in these scripts. Permanent markings, excessive damage, and lost or unreturned scripts will incur a payment for the script.

Download MTI RehearScore for music rehearsals and click the plus button at the bottom to add a show. Type in the username intothewoods and password INT3493044. This allows you to access practice tracks and a variety of features to help you learn the music. You can jump to a certain measure, mute and isolate parts, and more. Sondheim's music will challenge you to rely on your own musical prowess rather than the track, for the accompaniment does not help you. You must know how to count so you know when to come in.

Rehearsal Expectations

  1. You are expected to be using your time productively. This show will only come to fruition if you are putting in your best effort in the time given to rehearse.

  2. Expect to be working independently or with small groups a lot. Into the Woods does not emphasize ensemble work---and the numbers that do include ensemble will only work if you are strong individually.

  3. Expect to follow rehearsal plans as indicated by the conflict form. In order to efficiently rehearse, we must divide our time equally. Make sure you are not falling behind and that you thoroughly know your part for every section!
